    ArcheAge Chronicles Demo: Dates, Download and Access

    The public Steam demo runs 19 October at 10:00 PDT through 26 October at 10:00 PDT (UTC−7). It is free for Steam users, needs no application, and progress will not carry into Early Access.

    Demo dates and time zones

    XLGAMES scheduled the event from 19 October 2026, 10:00 PDT (UTC−7), to 26 October, 10:00 PDT. That is 17:00 UTC at both endpoints; in Korea Standard Time it begins on 20 October at 02:00 and ends on 27 October at 02:00. The demo is therefore still within its announced window on 21 October.

    Download and eligibility

    Open the official Steam store page and use its demo download control while the event is live. The announcement says the build is free and available to all Steam users, with no registration, application or test key. The announcement does not promise that every country or device can bypass Steam’s own regional and system checks.

    What the demo includes—and leaves out

    The public build centers on selected content in Diamond Shores. It includes the four named classes and makes PvP available in a public build for the first time; the official live post also calls out the optional high-level Throne of Hinnon dungeon. Housing and trade are explicitly excluded. Other systems may be limited, and the developer warns that bugs can occur.

    Progress, save data and console access

    Demo progress and save data do not carry over to Early Access. This is a Steam PC event; the current announcement does not announce a PlayStation or Xbox demo. A previous PS5 announcement is not evidence of a current console test.
