ArcheAge Chronicles Co-op and Party Play

Find the ArcheAge Chronicles party and co-op information needed to play with friends, including shared progress, channels and build-specific limits.

    AT A GLANCE

Parties can share quests and remain together as they move between zones; some areas are instanced for a player or party. The official progression article describes dungeons for one player or parties of up to four. The public demo is also explicitly intended for solo and group play.

Joining friends in the same world

XLGAMES says party members remain together when moving between zones, even when channel transitions are involved. The developer’s channel letter describes party and guild members as protected from one another in PvP channels. The public announcement does not publish a universal party-size limit.

    Shared quests and cooperative content

The current Steam announcements mention quest sharing for party members and private instances for some areas. The progression article says dungeon quest progress is shared inside the instance; those dungeons can be tackled solo or with a party of up to four. The demo is a limited slice, so the Early Access content list should not be read as a full demo checklist.

What group sizes are actually confirmed?

The four-player figure is attached to the developer’s dungeon description. A separate 2024 official raid post announced raids for 4–20 players; that is an announced raid range, not a limit for ordinary parties or every current build. The October demo does not include the full range of planned content.
